Finding Dory

I really liked Finding Nemo, so I was looking forward to the sequel. And yes, it's again funny, but it sort of feels a bit like a warmed-up second round. The new animals are great, the octopus, the blind shark, the beluga that has lost its ultrasound ability - precious. Overall, a nice way to spend an afternoon.

Inferno

Now this has to be one of the worst movies I've seen recently (together with the ID4-sequel). It was practically Angels and Demons all over, just in another city. I don't know the book, so I don't know if the similarities are as strong in the novel. But I was majorly disappointed despite Felicity Jones.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

The plot itself was weak, a few magical creatures set loose in New York and Scamander has to capture them again. The B-plot surrounding the abused boy and the manipulative Auror was much more interesting - because to be honest, if we follow the narrative about the Obscurus, which is kind of the repressed magical force of an abused child... well, let's just be happy that Harry didn't turn into an Obscurus. The visuals were quite spectacular, the various creatures interesting and funny. But there is a certain lack of depth despite the revelations at the end. I know it's only part 1 of 5, but still.
