Okay, a couple of further thoughts.

* Hulk... I think it was a cop out to sort of solve the duality of his character off-screen. I don't know whether the movie could have swallowed another character's major issues but he was kind of a let down (even if he served as comedic relief).

* Thor's hammer... Captain America's worthy of it? Hm. Why exactly? Any why was it necessary to sort of hit us in the eye with the all worthiness of this character? He was plain wrong in Civil War, the way he went about things, the way he lied to Tony. I'm not saying that I hate this character, far from it. But he is human, he is flawed... and he is out of his time (literally and figuratively).

* Sharon... still don't get the comments about her. Who cares that she kissed CA in CW? TWS took place 2 years before that and they just managed a kiss 2 years later? What a hot affair. People seem to forget that IW is set 2 years after CW with CA on the run, and Endgame another 5 years down the road. I think CA isn't too torn apart here.

* 5 years... I'm so happy that they didn't reset those. Not that it doesn't bring its issues, like spouses who suddenly return, people who return and didn't pay their debts etc. But for Tony it was perfect. He had his happy ending in Morgan - and what a better way to introduce the child of a hero than have the widow discover that she's pregnant.

* the death scene... still tearing up here. Pepper's words were so good and heart-felt. Not asking him to stay, not guilt-tripping him. But giving him permission to rest, that he's loved, that everybody will be okay. If you compare that to her outbursts in the IM-movies where she couldn't live with who and what he is... also full circle.

* Bucky and Sam... apparently there's going to be a mini-series. Yeah, more Bucky... urgh, more Wilson. But perhaps it will be explained why Sam, the typical follower, suddenly is meant to lead.

* Black Widow and the Soul Stone... Hm... still think Hawkeye shouldn't have gotten the stone since he didn't sacrifice something. But they did word it differently in IW (sacrifice instead of lose).

Otherwise, still feeling stunned, kind of empty and melancholy... a bit of grief here because I still think the movie itself was pretty much awesome.
